What Are Human Rights?
Art, essay, and poetry contests continue to be powerful activities for getting youth involved and learning about human rights.The purpose of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) is to teach
youth about human rights, specifically the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and inspire them to become advocates for tolerance and peace.
YHRI launched its global movement with an essay contest. The response to the call for essays describing the individual human rights was widespread
